The 12th Biennial Conference on Classical and Quantum Relativistic Dynamics of Particles and Fields

1 - 4 June 2020  ♦  Czech Technical University in Prague

The International Association for Relativistic Dynamics (IARD) will host its 12th biennial meeting at Czech Technical University in Prague 1 - 4 June 2020.

IARD 2020 marks the association's 22th year of activity since its founding at the 1998 meeting.

Eleven previous meetings were held in Houston, Texas, Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel, Howard University in Washington DC, Saas Fee, Switzerland, the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, and Hualien, Taiwan, Galileo Galilei Institute for Theoretical Physics (GGI) in Florence, Italy, again at UConn, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.

The goal of these meetings is to bring together researchers from diverse fields whose interests involve relativistic dynamics, both classical and quantum. The conference program aims to present recent developments in the abstract theoretical aspects of general approaches in quantum field theory, conformal field theories and string theories, manifestly covariant approaches to classical mechanics, quantum theory, and statistical mechanics, general relativity, classical and quantum gravity, and explore application in such areas as high energy electron spectroscopy, quark-gluon plasma generation in heavy ion collisions, general high energy scattering and particle decay, cosmology, gravitational waves, and relativistic quantum information.

Call for Papers

The International Association for Relativistic Dynamics invites all scholars to attend and participate in this conference, and to propose a lecture for one of the plenary sessions. If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please submit a brief abstract of your planned talk to the program committee at the following email address:

The deadline for abstracts is 1 April 2020. The abstracts should not exceed 250 words. You will receive an email acknowledgement upon receipt of your abstract. Notification of the acceptance of your abstract and assignment to a paper session will be made by 1 May 2020.

Registration and accommodation information for IARD 2020 and will be announced soon.

IARD would like to express its gratitude to Czech Technical University in Prague for its support in hosting IARD 2020.

Conference Proceedings

As in previous years, IARD 2020 participants will be invited to submit a manuscript for the conference proceedings. Submissions may present a significantly expanded discussion of the work described in the conference talk. All manuscripts will undergo external peer review before acceptance.

The Proceedings of IARD 2018 appear in Journal of Physics: Conference Series, Volume 1239.
